The 2013 NAVIKA 2nd World Kannada Summit will take place at the DCU Convention and Exhibit Center & Mechanics Hall in Boston Metro West (Worcester), Massachusetts.
A state-of-the-art convention center, often described as an architectural gem, the DCU has sweeping panoramic views of downtown Worcester. The convention center exceeds all expectations with regards to activity and attendance. The DCU routinely accommodates conventions, conferences, banquets, and other functions year-round. With over 50,000 square feet of exhibit space the convention center includes multiple meeting rooms, a 12,144 square foot ballroom (the largest in Central Massachusetts), superb in-house catering, and sophisticated communication services including high speed internet service with dedicated T-1 lines and WI-FI capabilities. The 2013 Summit will also be hosted at the Mechanics Hall in Worcester, Massachusetts. A pre-civil war edifice, the hall is steeped in the history of America’s Industrial Revolution. Today it hosts world-class jazz, classical, and contemporary music concerts, private galas, business meetings, and recording sessions. Mechanics Hall operates as a non-profit rental facility and is famed for its superb acoustics and its trademark New England elegance and grandeur.
