Naavu Vishwa Kannadigaru (Navika) is a non-profit organization created to promote and enrich cultural heritage of Karnataka. NAVIKA was formed on Ugadi day March 2009. It is a diverse community that embraces Kannadigas from all walks of life and is dedicated to unify all Kannadigas across the globe to promote social welfare and strengthening our social support system. It is committed to building a strong entity that empowers all Kannadigas and improving networking and areas of education, culture business and philanthropy.
Our goals include: Bringing all Kannada speaking people together in the World and provide a platform to share the culture, values and rich heritage of Karnataka. Building bridge with all other people to enrich our culture. As Reigveda says “Let noble thoughts come to me from all directions”.
It is estimated that nearly 200,000 plus people from Karnataka live in the United States of America alone. NAVIKA has already made huge strides in upholding its promises and efforts in Globalization by successfully convening five major conventions. Five World Kannada summits in USA and four in Amerikannadotsava in Bangalore/Mysore.
We are excited to launch several new projects and initiatives and continue to make leaps and bounds in accomplishing our goals. First to encourage learning Kannada (Kannada Kaliyona) program among children, Coordinate, collaborate learning activities throughout USA and Worldwide. Second improve digitization of Kannada literature and other content in social media and multimedia. This will help next generation of children to learn the language and culture. Provide a platform for all Kannadigas to showcase their talent in their field of expertise. Recognize outstanding accomplishments of Kannada speaking people all over USA and the World in every field. NAVIKA plans to publicize and commemorate the good work and contributions of all Kannadigas. Establish a young adult business/financial networking committee to embrace a large spectrum of financial issues to increase economic stability of Navikas and conduct fundraising events for charitable and meaningful causes to strengthen our social support system.
I humbly appeal to each and every Kannadiga to actively partake and get involved in moving this organization to high standards of excellence. I welcome you to bring your ideas, energy, and participation. Our hope is that NAVIKA will represent itself as an entity of strength, unity and power for all Kannadigas.

ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ನಾವಿಕ
ನಾವಿಕ (ನಾವು ವಿಶ್ವ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರು) ಒಂದು ಲಾಭರಹಿತ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ. ನಾವಿಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಸುಸ್ವಾಗತ. ನಿಮಗೆಲ್ಲ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ತಿಳಿದಿರುವಂತೆ 2009ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವಿಕಾವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಲಾಸ್ ಏಂಜಲೀಸ್ (ಕ್ಯಾಲಿಫೋರ್ನಿಯಾ), ಬಾಸ್ಟನ್(ಮ್ಯಾಸಚ್ಯೂಸೆಟ್ಸ್), ರೇಲೀ(ಉತ್ತರ ಕೆರೊಲಿನಾ), ಡಲ್ಲಾಸ್(ಟೆಕ್ಸಾಸ್), ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿನ್ಸಿನಾಟಿ (ಒಹಾಯೋ)ನಲ್ಲಿ ಐದು ವಿಶ್ವ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಮಾವೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ನಾವಿಕ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮೈಸೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ,ನಾವಿಕ “ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿಯೋಣ” ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ಚಾರಿಟಬಲ್ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿತು. ನಾವಿಕ ಎಂಬುದು ಅಮೇರಿಕಾದಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಂದಾಯಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಲಾಭರಹಿತ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿದೆ (501 C).
ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮುಂದಿನ ೨ ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ವಿವರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಇಷ್ಟಪಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಹಾಗೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಸಹಕಾರ, ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಕೋರುತ್ತೇನೆ.
೧. ವಿಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕಲಿಯೋಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ.
೨. ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಬಳಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವುದು. ಇದರಿಂದ ಯುವ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸಬಹುದು.
೩. ಹೊರನಾಡ ಕನ್ನಡ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿ ನಾವಿಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವುದು. ವಿಶ್ವದ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ನೆಲೆಸಿರುವ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ, ಅವರ ಸಾದನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಮಾಡುವುದು.
೪. ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟು ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚಿಂತನೆ. ಇತರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳೊಡನೆ ಸಹಕಾರ ಆಲೋಚನೆ.
೫. ಯುವಜನತೆಯ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಿಕೆ, ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು.
ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರಿಗೂ ಉಪಯೋಗವಾಗುವಂತಹ ನಾವಿಕಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸೋಣ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹಕಾರ, ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳುವಿಕೆ, ಸಲಹೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ಎಂದೆದಿಗೂ ನೀ ಕನ್ನಡವಾಗಿರು.
